The client is the company Crayola. The product that I am advertising is Crayola color pencils. The target audience would be for kids who like to draw for fun or as their hobby as well. I wouldn’t say that the target audience would be for adults as well since these aren’t professional but maybe just to catch their attention. I would expect to see this advertisement in a magazine. The camera that I used is a 5D Mark 4. The lighting that I used was a softbox and gel sheets. The props that I used was a pack a Crayola color pencils, a black background and a stack of books to lay the pack of color pencils.

The location of these photos were at my house, specifically in my room. I used natural lighting. The apps that I used was snap seed and the editing tools that the phone already comes with. The way I posted these photos were by getting the photos that I wanted to post and add them to my one drive and then on edublogs I pick the photos from my one drive. In my opinion, I think they came out okay. There’s nothing to special about them or anything that stands out about them. I do think that they have good natural lighting which makes the subject pop a little bit.

Cat Madness

Sandy Skoglund’s has a great work of photography because her style of work is similar to Wassily Kandinsky in the sense that it is also unique and abstract. Her photographs truly shows her creativity that she expresses throughout every photograph. For example, in the photograph above I admire that it is has cats in it because for starters I really love cats but also because I love that she put the same cat all over the place and what I also like is that she put the color of the cats as green rather then the color of a cat that they would usually have. That added an interesting touch. Overall, I would say that Skoglund’s photography is appealing and delightful.

Wassily Kandinsky Assignment

Kandinsky’s work is very intriguing because it isn’t one simple straightforward thing. His work is abstract and unique. It is abstract in the sense that it composed of many different shapes and lines all put together and yet the final art work is truly a masterpiece. It is unique in the sense that if anyone were to see an art piece like the one above or something similar like that, I believe they would connect it to Wassily Kandinsky’s art work and himself as well. The art piece above is one that I like that Kandinsky has done. All the random shapes really look well together and I also like the colors as well.

The reasoning behind why I chose to do climate change for this assignment is because this is something that cannot be set aside and/or be handled for another day. The time to take action is NOW. There is scientific evidence that climate change is in fact real and is causing harm to earth itself. Climate change is something that is not caused by something natural but rather it is caused by the very own individuals who cause greenhouse gases which cause a large scale shift in weather patterns. These emissions that are caused by the individuals affect the earth slowly to the point that it may be to late to go back and fix what was damaged if we don’t start taking action now. To those, who say that climate change is not a big deal or to those who even say that climate change does not exist, then I feel terribly bad for you for ignoring the facts and statistics and only believing your own opinion. My artwork is not intended to be offending in any way because I am simply just stating something that I true that is backed up with real evidence and if you feel offended in any way by this then I ask to take a real good look at yourself and see who you really are. In terms of critiquing my project, my artwork is not something extravagant but rather pretty simple and straightforward to get the message across everyone.

Vintage Tin Type Image

Tin Type photographs are created by a thin sheet of metal coated with a dark lacquer and they are usually mainly for portraits. The first usages and creations of tin type photography made the usages of processing photos more accessible. The steps that I took to create my own version of a vintage “tin type” image is that I first I had to see the variety of effects and filters that I could use to make the image look “vintage”. I had to use about 3 to 5 filters and then I added a border around the image as well and this was the end result that I got.
